Revêtement de sol en bois
La designer danoise Pernille Snedker Hansen de Snedker Studio a présenté son sol « Marbelous Wood » lors de la Danish Biennale for Crafts and Design 2011. En appliquant un technique décorative à un parquet de pin brut, elle souligne son veinage et lui donne un aspect marbré, coloré et vibrant qui fait de « Marbelous Wood » un revêtement de sol bois unique.
Sur Marbelous Wood, Snedker Studio précise:
« Marbelous Wood challenges the way we use wood in our built environment, where function and aesthetics reach a sublime level of harmony. Pernille Snedker Hansen has repurposed an old marbling technique giving wood a supernatural, organic, colorful and vibrant pattern. The applied decoration engages in a dialogue with the natural growth rings of the underlying wood. Marbelous Wood reveals the mysteries in wood, exposing its story and immense details embodied in nature. »
